Dances by the KÁRPÁTOK
Showcasing L.A. Performing Artists! Art exhibit! Hungarian food!
As part of the event, our Congregation will honor leaders of the L.A. Hungarian Scouts – Éva Balog-Sipos, Pál Kass, and László Latkóczy - for their work on behalf of Hungarian art, language, and culture.
PROGRAM:
11:30 – 12:30 pm: Hungarian and English Worship.
12:30 – 2:25 pm: In Kossuth Hall: Szabolcsi-style stuffed cabbage, vegetarian options, and your favorite desserts by Chefs Hilárion and Renáta. Take home-baked goodies by the Church Ladies! Zserbó, krémés, diós, mákos beigli, pogácsa and..? Music by Péter Geburth! Lunch is followed by dances of The KÁRPÁTOK Folk Dance Ensemble and poetry and more by L.A. Performing Artists!
2:30 pm: GROF ISTVÁN, Hungarian Consul General, will greet the audience, and the program will continue with songs by SÁNDOR BALLA. Szerettel várunk!
AFTER PROGRAM...good cheer, friendly conversation, coffee, tea, and more!

Adult ticket donation: $30. (1 ticket) for Lunch AND Concert. Student ticket 12 and above $10. Children under 12 FREE!
